Neard installation
1. Download
Go to the download page of the site neard.ioChoose to retrieve the "neard-Basic-x.7z" version.
The Light version has only Apache and PHP services.
The Full version has all the modules that you will certainly not use for standard WAMP usage.
2. Decompressing the file
Unzip the compressed file to 7z format with the free tool 7zipAs Neard is portable, you can put it on a USB stick but I strongly advise against it as access to files on a USB stick is very slow.
For an easy future update, it is strongly advised to use a "fixed" folder name like "neard" and not "neard-basic" or "neard-basic-1.8.2" (for version 1.8.2 for example).
It is strongly recommended to use a path that contains no spaces..
This could cause problems with some components.

3. Example of an installation folder
In our tutorial, we are organised and we have chosen to install it on the D: drive under the sub-folder web.We therefore find the following structure:
D:\
web
neard
alias
...
www
neard.exe
...
4. Prerequisites
If your PC is running an up-to-date Ms W10, the prerequisites are all there already, and you don't have to do anything...If not, you'll need to install the requirements .
